Is there a change of additional tariffs once the package enters the USA? Will this speed up or delaying shipping processes?

In response to the removal of "De Minimis" exemption for cargo to the U.S., Buyee has decided to change its tax collection system from DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) to DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) for shipping methods to the USA:

From August 22nd, 2025 ECMS shipping method will be DDP (Delivery Duty Paid)
From August 28th, 2025 DHL, UPS and FedEx (Including Buyee Air Delivery service) will be changed to DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) as well.

To ensure a smooth process and simplify costs for you, all DDP shipments will now include a flat 20% tariff fee, which is based on the item's invoice amount. This fee is automatically applied at checkout upon shipment.

Because these fees are now prepaid, you will no longer be required to pay for import duties or customs fees upon your package's arrival in the USA. This is expected to significantly reduce delays and lead to a much smoother, faster delivery to your door.

Please be aware that this change does not affect any applicable state or local taxes, which may still apply depending on your location. For specific details regarding state taxes, we recommend checking with your local customs or tax authorities.
