Is it possible to ship packages containing lithium batteries?
Normally, game devices, laptops or other items with a built-in or installed lithium battery can be shipped with Japan Post (EMS/AIR/SAL/Seamail) and DHL/FedEx(Buyee Air Delivery).
However, they have to meet the following regulations below:
① The lithium battery needs to be a built-in battery or installed into the item.
② Up to 2 built-in or installed lithium batteries can be shipped in one package.
③ The destination country must allow lithium batteries to be imported.
※To some countries such as Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, etc., lithium batteries can only be shipped by UPS.
※We will register the shipping method as UPS for packages containing more than 2 lithium batteries or lithium batteries are packed separately.
※The lithium restrictions vary for each country/shipping method, please contact your local customs or shipping company for more information.
Furthermore, packages containing a single lithium battery, such as power bank cannot be shipped internationally.
